This is an informative essay about artificial intelligence. Firstly this essay will argue that artificial intelligence is nothing to be afraid about, and secondly that its development is driven by computer games. In the following I am going to explain how artificial intelligence works and how intelligence is created. A few days ago I had that “I-need-to-have-an-uncomplicated-game-after-that-shitty-GTAIV-disaster” feeling. It was a disaster, because it didn’t run smooth. It was more like a fucking slide show. Everybody will check for people’s activities. The government might hack the Twitter accounts, log every entry. Burglars know when you go shopping. And worst of all: If Google search engines start indexing this crap, there will be even more SPAM out there. Wanna read something straighforward? How about this solution: Read on
Danny Choo has what I would like to call “the eye”. He has the eye for taking beautiful photos. At least that’s what I realized in a second when reading one of his articles. Remember that Half-Life thing? Gordon Freeman bringing us Aliens and chaos and a lot of shooting? Well, this one is completely different, except for the shooting part and that it is a game developed by the same company (Valve). Why do I start with this confusing introduction? Because I want to point out that Valve has produced a lot of great games. Unfortunately, they pissed off a lot of gamers with their DRM platform Steam. Anyhow, let’s talk about this game. Read on
