Guess what… size doesn’t matter! At least, when it comes to computer cases, bigger’s never better!

The story

There are quite some computer stores in my area – one of them has very competent workers and bad product quality, the other has good quality, but the people there give you a lot of BS information. So I went there to ask for the optional external sound cable for my graphics card, which should make it possible to get HDMI working with sound. Anyway, I got there with my small barbone case (see above) and put it next to his monster case. He was smiling at me and started a conversation:

He: What kind of teeny tiny thing do we have here?
Me: That’s a gaming computer, sport.
He: Reeeeaally? It has barely place for the screws. How can it be gaming?
Me: Well, tell me then: What does one need for gaming?
He: A monster machine like mine – with power and a lot of space.
Me: N-ah. All you need is a powerful processor, a graphics card, RAM and a hard drive.
He: But it all fits barely in there -
Me: Barely, means it does, doesn’t it?
He: Errr..
Me: Tell me, buddy – why do you have two DVD drives in there?
He: Because.. err. I can.. err. Copy lots of..
Me: Yeah, right. You now that my little one can outrun yours, don’t you?
He: Maybe, maybe not. At least mine’s got lights.
Me: I don’t need and don’t want any. I’m just here to pick up a cable. And you?
He: My lights overpowered the power supply, so I need a new one.
Me: Quod erat demonstrandum1.
